है। ज्ञानवान् राजयोगी होता है। पुत्र-सन्ततियुक्त, सन्तानों में पुत्रियां अधिक होती हैं। निश्चय
ही उत्तम सन्तान का सुख प्राप्त होता है। सन्तान उत्तमकोटि की होती है। जातक के सुशील
मित्र होते हैं। जातक को कन्याएं होती हैं, एक पुत्र भी होता है। स्त्री और बच्चे बहुत
प्यारे होते हैं। चन्द्र प्रसवराशि में हो तो काफी संतति होती है। बलवान् हो तो
सन्तान भाग्यशाली होती है। अलंकारों से युक्त स्त्री का सुख होता है। स्त्री
पतिवशवर्तिनी और पतिपरायण होती है। इसकी स्त्री रूप-लावण्यवती होती है। कभी-कभी यह
कु्रद्धा भी हो जाती है अर्थात् मानलीला में कोप करने का नाटक करती है। इसके दोनों
स्तनों के मध्य में चिन्ह होता है। पंचम स्थान स्त्री स्थान का लाभ स्थान है। इस
लिए यहाँ चन्द्र हो तो स्त्री से लाभ और भाग्योदय होता है। इसके घर में दो
स्त्रियाँ होती हैं, अर्थात् यह दो
स्त्रियों का पति होता है। स्त्री देवता-चण्डी-दुर्गा आदि की उपासना करने से
मनोवंछित पदार्थो की प्राप्ति होती है। अर्थात् चन्द्रमा स्त्री-ग्रह है। अत:
स्त्री जाति के देवता शीघ्र वरदायक हो जाते है। जातक के जन्म देते समय इसकी माता
को भारी कष्ट उठाना पड़ता है ।
उपर
वर्णित शुभफल का अनुभव चन्द्र के पुरुषराशियों में होने पर अधिक होगा। चन्द्र बलवान् हो तो सट्टा और जुआ से बहुत
लाभ होता है। वृष, कन्या, मकर राशियों में चन्द्र हो तो कन्याओं का आधिक्य होता है,
पुत्र सन्तान देरी से
होती है। मिथुन, तुला, कुम्भ राशियों में चन्द्र के होने से
पुत्र-सन्तति का होना मुश्किल होता है। प्राय: कन्याएँ होती हैं। पुत्र नहीं होता
है। कर्क, वृश्चिक, मीन, मेष, सिंह, धनु राशियों में
चन्द्र हो तो पहिले पुत्र, फिर कन्याएँ, तदनन्तर पुन:
पुत्र, इस क्रम से
सन्तति होती है। जब पंचमभाव से संतति
का विचार किया जावे तो पति-पत्नी दोनों की कुंडलियों का विचार एकसाथ करना चाहिए,
क्योंकि कई बार केवल पति
की कुण्डली से बताया गया फल अनुभव में नहीं आता। मेष, सिंह वा धनु में चन्द्र हो तो शिक्षा अधूरी रह
जाती है।

अशुभफल :पंचमभाव
का चन्द्रमा हो तो कन्याएँ होती है। पुत्र नहीं होते। रोगी, कामुक, भयजनक मुखवाला होता है। चन्द्र दूषित हो तो अनिष्ट फल देता है।
ऐसा व्यक्ति मलिन चित का, और कष्टयुक्त होता है। इसी से असफलता, निराशा और मन की अस्थिरता, ये फल मिलते हैं।
