Auspicious Results :
The Sun is in the fourth bhava, and one may get a lot of happiness from one’s mother. Friends also give a lot of benefits and happiness. One may get name and wealth from the royal family. A position of power or a government service may be attained. Important positions are attained. Popularity and fame increases. One is soft at heart. One is fond of vocal and instrumental music. One fights in the forefront during battles and never shows one’s back. One is blessed with a spouse and plenty of wealth. One will have a spouse, a few children, a good job and a vehicle will be acquired in middle age. In one’s 22nd year, every thing becomes settled and one acquires fame too. In middle age (28 to 50 years) the position is good, one constructs a house with one’s earnings and owns a vehicle. During one’s later years, one will attain fame. One will also give happiness to one’s father. The position is very good. Auspicious results will be experienced. Auspicious results are felt because of good planetary positions.

स्थान में सूर्य होने से मां से अनेक प्रकार के सुख मिलते हैं। मित्रों से कई तरह
के लाभ एवं सुख प्राप्त होते हैं। राजकुल से धन और मान की प्राप्ति होती है।
राज्यसत्ता, राजसेवा प्राप्त होती है। राजप्रिय होता है।
अतिशोभायुक्त अधिकार प्राप्त होता है। लोकप्रिय तथा सर्वजनप्रिय होता है। कोमल
हृदय होता है । गीत और वाद्यकलाओं में प्रेम होता है। युद्ध में आगे होकर लड़ता है
कभी पीठ नहीं दिखाता है। स्त्री सुख तथा विपुलधन-सुख मिलता है। जातक की एक स्त्री, संतति भी थोड़ी, नौकरी अच्छी, मध्यायु में वाहनसुख होता है। 22वें वर्ष में सभी काम ठीक हो जाते हैं सुप्रतिष्ठित हो जाता
है। मध्यावस्था (28 से 50 वर्ष) में स्थिति
अच्छी रहती है। अपनी कमाई से घर आदि बना लेता है। वाहनसुख होता है। आयु के अन्तिम
भाग में यश की प्राप्ति होती । पिता को भी सुख देता है। रवि बलवान वा शुभग्रहों से दृष्ट हो तो
अच्छी स्थिति प्राप्त होती है। चौथे
स्थान में सूर्य के शुभफल तब मिलते हैं जब सूर्य मिथुन, कन्या, तुला, धनु, मकर और मीन में हो।
चतुर्थेश बलवान् हो अपनी राशि में त्रिकोण में वा केन्द्र में हो तो सवारी
मिलती है।
Inauspicious Results :
One may be worried, hard hearted, destructive of one’s father’s wealth, enmical towards brothers, secretively fond of studies and deprived of the comfort of a vehicle. One’s body may remain warm and one may be physically handicapped. One will be proud and always fighting with others. One may be weak, harsh and in the company of wicked people. One may not be able to impress anyone with one’s personality. One will always be worried, suspicious, mentally unhappy and in pain. One may not be pleasant natured. One may be infatuated by prostitutes, lacking happiness and wandering aimlessly. One may be involved in disputes with one’s friends and brothers and deprived of their company. One may face defeat during conflicts with enemies and one’s pride suffers. One tends to oppose one’s father. One’s mind is unstable and heart is never at ease. One is always fearful and disturbed. One is always gripped by anxiety due to destruction of one’s father’s accumulated wealth. One may have to travel a lot, even abroad, in connection with earning a living. One does not stay permanently in one’s own house and is always roaming around. Because of this, one is deprived of domestic happiness. One does not stick to one place and wanders abroad aimlessly. One lacks the company of human beings, friends, land and friends. One may be destructive of one’s domestic life and one’s wealth, and, lacks wealth, property and the happiness of prosperity. One stays in the shelter of a characterless king. One loses one’s father or mother during one’s childhood. One faces many hardships during one’s childhood. One’s old age is painful but one’s death comes fast and peacefully. General interpretations for Sun in the fourth house are as follows: Unhappiness in the first part, happiness in the middle followed by unhappiness in the end. One may be deprived of a good vehicle and a plot of land, and, one may have to live in another person’s house.
अशुभ फल :
जन्मलग्न से चौथे स्थान में सूर्य होने से जातक चिन्ताग्रस्त, कठोर, पितृधन नाशक, भाइयों से वैर
करनेवाला, गुप्त विद्याप्रिय एवं वाहन सुखहीन होता है।
शरीर गर्म रहता है। हीनांग होता है,
अर्थात् उसके शरीर में
कोई अंग विकल या कम होता है। अहंकारी (घमण्डी) होता है। प्राय: आम लोगों से लड़ाई
झगड़ा करता रहता है। दुर्बल, निष्ठुर तथा बुरों की संगति में रहनेवाला होता
है। प्रभावशाली नहीं होता है-अर्थात् अपने व्यक्तित्व से किसी को प्रभावित नहीं कर
सकता है। सर्वदा सन्देहयुक्त और परेशान रहता है। हृदय में दु:ख का अनुभव करता है।
मन में पीड़ा रहती है। प्रसन्नचित नहीं रहता है वेश्याओं में आसक्त, निरानन्द तथा व्यर्थ घूमनेवाला होता है। भाई-बन्धुओं से
विग्रह अर्थात् लड़ाई-झगड़ा रहता है। बन्धु-बान्धवों के सुख से वंचित रहता
है।शत्रुओं से संघर्ष होने पर पराजय का मुख देखना पड़ता है। मानभंग होता है। पिता
से विरोध करने वाला होता है। बुद्धि स्थिर नहीं होती है। किसी समय भी चित्त शान्त
नहीं रहता है अर्थात् चित्त में घबराहट और उद्विग्नता रहती है। पिता के द्वारा
अर्जित धन का नाश हो जाने के कारण चिन्तायुक्त रहता है। जीविका की तलाश में प्राय:
परदेश वास या घूमना-फिरना पड़ता है। अपने घर में स्थायीरूपेण रहने नहीं पाता
है-अर्थात् देश-विदेश घूमता-भटकता फिरता है। अत: गृहसुखहीन भी होता है। सुख से भी
वंचित रहता है। एक स्थान पर टिक कर नहीं रहता है परदेश में भटकता फिरता है। मनुष्य
सुखहीन, बन्धुहीन, भूमिहीन, मित्र रहित तथा भवनहीन होता है। घर-गृहस्थी और धन सम्पत्ति को नष्ट करनेवाला
होता है। धनहीन और धान्यहीन होता है। धन का सुख नहीं होता है। चरित्रहीन राजा के
आश्रय में रहता है। बचपन में माता या पिता की मृत्यु होती है। बचपन में कई एक और
भी कष्ट होते हैं। वृद्धावस्था (उत्तरवय) कष्टमय बीतता है। किन्तु मृत्यु शांति से
और शीघ्र होती है। चतुर्थ रवि का सामान्यफल निम्न है:-पहिली अवस्था में दु:ख, मध्य में सुख, में पुन:
दु:ख।चतुर्थेंश के साथ कोई पापग्रह होने से अथवा पापग्रह की दृष्टि होने से अथवा
चतुर्थेश किसी दुष्टस्थान में स्थित होने से अच्छी सवारी नहीं मिलती। जातक के पास
जमीन नहीं होती। दूसरे के घर पर निवास करना होता।
