व्यय स्थान में सूर्य होने से जातक को युद्ध और विवाद में विजय मिलती है। शरीर का दु:ख दूर होता है। जातक पुत्रवान् तथा धैर्यवान् होता है। राजा से धन मिलता है। भावेश बलवान् होने से देवसिद्धि प्राप्त हो सकती है। शय्यासुख भी प्राप्त होता है। मिथुन, तुला, कुंभ में सूर्य होने से जातक खर्चीला, अपने वर्ग तथा समाज में विख्याति पाने वाला होता है।

One might suffer from stomach and eye ailments, night blindness, weak vision and other diseases. There will be pain in the legs and body. There may be great physical agony. In the 36th year, one will suffer stomach and gastric ailments. Some part of the body may be deformed. One will be energetic and restless. बारहवें भाव में सूर्य होने से जातक उदासीन, वाम-नेत्र तथा मस्तक रोगी, आलसी, परदेशवासी, मित्र-द्वेषी एवं कृश-शरीर होता है। द्वादश भाव में सूर्य उदर और आँख के रोग, रात्रयन्धता, मन्ददृष्टिता आदि व्याधि से पीडि़त करता है। शरीर में, पैरों में पीड़ा देता है। शरीर में विशेष व्यथा होती है। छत्तीसवर्ष की आयु में गुल्मरोग (पेट का रोग-वायुगोला) होता है। शरीर के किसी अंग में व्यंग अर्थात् विकृतांग वा अंगहीन होता है। चंचल होता है, इस कारण इसका स्वभाव अस्थिर होता है। अपने चाचा से जातक का वैमनस्य रहता है तथा चाचा की तरफ से आपत्तियाँ उठती हैं। यात्रा में हानि पहुँचती है। रास्ते में चलते हुए अकस्मात् धनहानि होती है। जातक कुल-परम्परागत धर्म से विरुद्ध चलता है। धर्मपतित होता है। निर्धन होता है। राजा से (सरकार से) और चोरों से भय रहता है। व्यर्थ इधर-उधर भटकनेवाला होता है। बहुत कामुक तथा परस्त्रीगामी होता है। पक्षी समूह का नाश करता है अर्थात् आकाश में उड़ते हुए पक्षियों का शिकार करता है । जंघा के रोग होते हैं। साधारण लोगों से विरोध रखता है। बन्ध्यास्त्री का पति होता हैय अर्थात् इसकी स्त्री संतान पैदा करने के अयोग्य होती है। बलहीन और तुच्छ अर्थात् ओछे स्वभाव का होता है। मानहीन, बहुत खर्चीला या उत्तम काम करनेवाला, दुष्टों का रक्षक और अत्यन्त क्रोधी होता है। द्वादशभावस्थ रवि के साथ पापग्रह की युति होने से जातक के धन का खर्च कुपात्र के ऊपर किया जाता है अर्थात् असद्व्ययी होता है। शय्यासुख से वंचित रहता है। सूर्य चन्द्र से युक्त न होने से अंतिम आयु में विजयी और भाग्यवान् होता है। जातक बड़ा मेहनती और धूर्त होता हैं किन्तु सफलता कम मिलती है।
