Sun in the ninth bhava makes one good looking with beautiful hair. One will be the well-wisher of one’s family and will have faith in Brahmins. One will be brave, truthful, saintly and meditative and have a good character. One’s auspicious deeds have a root in arrogance and showing off, but this also brings him name and fame. One will possess leadership qualities. Sun in the ninth makes one famous and happy with the wealth of others. One will attain stability in youth and become wealthy. One will be blessed with servants and vehicles. One will have wealth and wealth related comforts and is worshipped by society due to one’s high position. One will be blessed with a mother and sons. One’s sons are very capable. One will have faith in Gods and teachers. One will be interested in one’s family’s traditional religion and the rituals thereof. Sun in the ninth gives fame in some form or the other. One will be religious and may worship Lord Sun. The person may be a writer, a publisher or a principal.
शुभ फल :
नवमभाव में सूर्य होने से जातक रूपवान् होता है और उसके केश सुन्दर होते हैं। कुल के लोगों का हित चाहने वाला, देवताओं, ब्राह्मणों में श्रद्धा रखनेवाला होता है। साहसी, सदाचारी, योगी, तपस्वी तथा सत्यवक्ता होता है। जातक शुभकर्म करता है तो उसके मूल में दंभ होता है-दिखावा होता है-परन्तु यह भी मान-प्रतिष्ठा और यश का कारण हो जाता है। जातक में नेतृत्व के गुण होते हैं। सूर्य नवमभाव में होने से जातक संसार में प्रसिद्ध, दूसरों के धन से सुखी और सुशोभित होता है। युवाअवस्था में स्थिरता मिलती है तथा धनाढ़्य होता है। नौकर-चाकरोें तथा वाहन का सुख मिलता है। सम्पत्ति और सम्पत्ति जनित सुखों का उपभोग करता है तथा अपने वर्चस्व से समाज में पूजित हुआ करता है। मातृसुख एवं पुत्रसुख प्राप्त होता है। पुत्र सर्वथा योग्य होते हैं।गुरुजनों तथा देवताओं में श्रद्धा रखता है। जातक कुल परम्परा प्राप्त श्रोतस्मार्त धर्म में तथा क्रियाकाण्ड (कर्मकाण्ड) में रुचि रखता है। नवमभाव का रवि कुछ न कुछ ख्याति अवश्य देता है। सूर्य नवमभाव में होने से जातक धार्मिक होता है तथा सूर्य आदि देवताओं का पूजक होता है। मिथुन, तुला, या कुम्भ में सूर्य होने से जातक लेखक, प्रकाशक वा प्राध्यापक हो सकता है।
Inauspicious Results :
One may be unfortunate, uneducated, wicked and imprudent. Meditation may not be based on pious thoughts, which makes the mind restless. Staying abroad makes one’s mind dissatisfied and aggressive. There may be many obstacles in one’s work. One’s brothers and others may always give him cause for worry. One may not be loved by one’s spouse or father and may be opposed to them. One may not be on good terms with one’s maternal relatives and may behave enmically towards one’s maternal uncle and aunt. One may be weak and ailing. One may suffer ailments in one’s childhood. One may be enmical towards one’s teachers and elders. One may leave one’s traditional family religion and be converted to another religion. The general interpretations for Sun in the ninth are as follows: A difficult childhood, a happy middle age and a painful old age.
अशुभ फल :
नवें भाव में सूर्य होने से जातक अभागा, विद्याहीन, विवेकहीन और दुष्ट स्वभाव का होता है। जातक की तपस्या शुभ भावनामूलक नहीं होती, अत: चित्त अशान्त ही रहता है। परदेश में रहने से मन उद्विग्न और असन्तृप्त रहता है। जातक के काम में बहुत विघ्न होते हैं। सहोदर भाइयों से तथा अन्य लोगों से चिन्ता बराबर बनी रहती है। पिता से और स्त्री से प्रेम नहीं होता है अर्थात् इनके साथ विरोध रखता है। जातक के सम्बन्ध मातृकुल से अच्छे नहीं रहते प्रत्युत इसका व्यवहार और बर्ताव मामा-मामी आदि से शत्रु जैसा होता है। जातक रोगी और दीन होता है। वचपन में रोग होते हैं। जातक का गुरुजनों से वैमनस्य रहता है। अपने कुलपरम्परागत धर्म को छोड़कर दूसरे के धर्म को अपनाता है। अर्थात् विधर्मी हो जाता है। नवमभाव स्थित सूर्य का सामान्य फल इस प्रकार है:-पूर्ववय में कष्ट, मध्यवय में सुख और उत्तर आयु में पुन: दु:ख।
