Auspicious Results :
One has a good
character and a sharp brain. One is intelligent and prudent. One will be able
to understand the minutest and toughest of things. One will be interested in
the science of mantras and may be knowledgeable about the shastras. One may be
a devotee of the Sun and Shiva. One will accumulate wealth gradually. One may
be the king’s favorite and go abroad. One will be happy. One has few children,
probably one son only.

पंचमभाव
में सूर्य होने से जातक सदाचारी, कुशाग्रबुद्धि, मेधा सम्पन्न,
बुद्धिमान् होता है।
बुद्धि सूक्ष्मातिसूक्ष्म विषय को भी समझ लेनेवाली होती है। जातक मन्त्रविद्या का
प्रेमी या मंत्रशास्त्र का पंडित होता है। सूर्य, शिव का भक्त होता है। द्रव्य का संग्रह
करनेवाला होता है। धीरे-धीरे धन एकत्रित करता है। राजा का प्यारा तथा परदेश
जानेवाला होता है। जातक सुखी होता है। सन्तान थोड़ी होती है। बहुधा एक ही पुत्र
होता है।
Inauspicious Results :
One does not perform pious deeds and is lethargic in matters of religion. One may be worried, anxious, lively, weak, short tempered and may have a painful childhood. One may be confused. One’s mind may be unstable and indecisive. One will be carefree, incautious, pleasure loving and lively. Sun in the fifth bhava makes one skilled at fraud and unhesitant in cheating others. One derives pleasure out of this. One may have a comparatively large stomach and may suffer from stomach ailments.
One may also suffer pain in the arms or hands. One may die of chest pain or heart trouble. One may suffer ailments during one’s youth. One may not acquire wealth and be poor. One will spend a lot of money. One may wander around mountains and forts. One will be lively and pleasure loving and will enjoy the company of one’s spouse. One may have few sons and many daughters. One may perform bad deeds, have a wicked mental frame and may give bad advice.
In the seventh year, one’s father may be harmed in some manner. Sun in the house of children signifies hardships for children and destroys happiness of children. Either one may have to face the death of one’s elder son, or the first child may give pain. The son may die due to the curse of a snake. There might be no children. The mind may have wicked thoughts and wicked deeds may be done. Anger, bad company and bad actions may prevail. One is selfish and stingy and does not care about the happiness or unhappiness of others. One’s business prospers. One’s children survive and one earns good money.
अशुभ फल :
जन्मलग्न से पचंमभाव में सूर्य हो तो वह
शुभकर्म नहीं करता है। और धर्म के कामों में आलस्य करनेवाला होता है। चिन्ता तथा
व्यथा से युक्त,चंचल, निर्बल शीघ्र क्रोधी और बचपन में दु:खी रहता
है। भ्रान्त रहता है अर्थात् मति स्थिर और निश्चयात्मक नहीं होती है। प्रमादी होता
है अर्थात् असावधान और बेफिक्र अथवा बेपरवाह और मस्त रहता है। पंचमभाव में सूर्य होने से जातक कपट करने में
अत्यन्त चतुर, दूसरे को धोखा
देने में नहीं हिचकता, दूसरों को ठगने में भारी आनन्द आता है। पेट अपेक्षया बड़ा होता है। पेट की
बीमारी से पीडि़त रहना पड़ता है। जातक हाथों की पीड़ा से अथवा बाहुरोग से पीडि़त
हुआ करता है। जातक की मौत हृद्य रोग या कलेजे की पीड़ा के कारण होती है। जवानी में
रोग होते हैं। धनप्राप्ति नहीं होती है। धनहीन होता है।पैसे बहुत खर्च करता है।
पहाड़ों और किलों पर घूमता-फिरता है। चंचलबुद्धि, और विलासी होता है। स्त्री संग में खुश रहता
है। पन्चम सूर्य पुत्र कम, कन्याएँ अधिक देता है। बुरे काम करता है और बुरी सलाह देता है। चित की भावनाएँ
बुरी होती हैं। सातवें वर्ष में जातक के पिता को अरिष्ट होता है। सुतस्थान में
स्थित सूर्य अल्पसन्ततिवान्, पुत्रों को कष्ट एवं सुतसुख का विनाश करता है। अपने ज्येष्ठ पुत्र की मृत्यु
का दु:ख भी भोगना पड़ सकता है। या प्रथमपुत्र से कष्ट पाता है।
पंचमेश के साथ राहु-केतु का सम्बन्ध होने
से सर्पशाप से पुत्र नष्ट होते हैं।
जलराशि से भिन्न राशियों में होने से सन्तति नहीं होती।
सूर्य वृष, कन्या वा मकर में होने से - बुरी बुद्धि,
बुरे कर्म, क्रोधी, कुरूप, कुशील, बुरी संगति में रहना - ये फल मिलते हैं।
सूर्य वृष, कन्या, मकर, कर्क, वृश्चिक और मीन में होने से मनुष्य स्वार्थपरायण, कंजूस, दूसरों के सुख-दु:ख की परवाह न करनेवाला होता है। व्यापार
अच्छा रहता है। सन्तति होकर जीवित रहती है। पैसा भी होता है।
